ARMY Poster Template

These Army recruiting posters are very popular lately (everywhere), so I’ve decided to take a stab at it. There are certain rules and regulations when it comes to “government issued marketing”, so this poster is of course different than party/event posters. It may not be flashy, but it’s powerful for sure. Just right click on the layer Image Holder, marked in red, and choose Edit Contents. Paste your photo, resize, save. It will update the main poster file. To edit the header text, open layer folder called Big Text and right click on the headline holder marked in orange. choose “edit contents” and retype text. save. There is a layer folder called “adjustment” on the top, you can enable/disable or enable with the lower opacity for more subtle effect.

Fonts used: – Bebas Neue (http://www.dafont.com/bebas-neue.font) - Impact (it’s a standard font and you should have it installed. Also you can substitute with this very cool, grungy font “321 Impact”:http://www.dafont.com/321impact.font) – it would work great for a Zombie Army or something. -Trajan Pro (http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/adobe/trajan/)

Concert Poster

8.5″x11″, CMYK, 300dpi

Ideal for classical music, jazz, blues concerts or world music events. Simple to use. You can add your images by right clicking the Image Holder (marked in red) and choosing Edit Contents. For now, the keyboard and the mic shown in the preview are bot included. Just enable whichever one you want.

You can also paste your own image, disable my included graphics and save. It will update the main file image. To edit bold text in blue on top, right click it’s smart object marked in yellow and called “BlueText”, choose Edit Contents and re-type text. The rest of the text is marked in orange.

Concert Poster

Vintage Newspaper Cover

Editable vintage newspaper cover (see Editable areas in the preview), great for concerts, events, tours and more. CMYK, 300dpi, with color bleeds and croplands. Your color photos will became old newspaper images. Open layer folders called Image Left and Image Right. Right click on the layer marked in red called Right Image and choose “Edit Contents”. Paste your image and resize to fit. Save, close. Repeat with the Left Image holder.

Poster Glass Break

 Great for events, performances, books. Easy to use – just right click the layer “Image Holder” marked in red, and choose “Edit Contents”, then paste your image and save. It will update the main poster. Shattered header text is marked in yellow. Do the same with it – right click and choose “edit contents” then retype text. Save.

Note: When inserting images and changing header text, it will ask dor a fisplacement layer during the save. Just browse to the included “Displacement.psd” file and click ok.

You can choose one of 5 main colors (in the layer folder “Colors”).

Based on the famous Piet Mondrian’s painting “Composition in red” 1930, this film poster captures with it’s simplicity and balance. Just paste your photos into Image Placeholders (marked in red, inside the layer “images”) by right clicking on the holder layers and choosing “Edit Contents”. Paste your images and save. Edit text.
